.THAILAND.

My first out of the country travel.

Yeah, we all know how excited we were when we had our first out of the country trip. Maybe because it's one in our bucket list right?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

So why Thailand

Thailand really does have it all. It's rich in culture, fascinating history and impressive temples. Of course, don't forget that it is one of the best shopping hub in the world.

Here I list my top 5 reasons why I love Thailand:

1. Jaw-dropping temples

The gleaming golden Buddha statues, the sparkling temples and colorful surroundings-- WOW just WOW. Although I’d already seen lots of pictures of Bangkok’s temples before I go on my own Thailand spree, I have to say, when I was faced with the real thing up close, I wasn’t quite prepared for the sheer sophistication and grandeur of the architecture that surrounded me.

2. Fun and easy transportation

Don't forget to try the "tuk-tuk" ride through the chaotic streets of Bangkok.

Another way to go around the city is through their tourist boats.

3. The FOOOOOOOD

This is one of the things that most wanderers returning from Thailand will rave about. Eating spicy food is not my thing but trying Thai food with their super spicy seasonings is just enchanting.  Fragrant, spicy green curries, pad thai, delicious mango sticky rice and fresh fruits. Need I say more?

4. the WILDLIFE

Visiting SAFARI WORLD is one of the highlights of my trip. Yeah I know, it is a typical zoo whatsoever. But the shows are Aaaa-mazingly good! Of course, meeting elephants, watching the cheeky chimps playfully swing from branch to branch, and seeing the incredible exodus of different wild animals.

5. Shoooo-shopping

Nahhhhh. I'm not the shopaholic one but shopping in Bangkok is really an experience to thrill. From the towering size of modern, air-conditioned malls to the hustle and bustle of its famously buzzing street markets. Just be sure to polish your bargaining skills to get the things you like.

It was with a heavy heart to leave this country. For sure I will have my way back to the beautiful country of Thailand. I still have to hop to the ancient capitals of Sukhothai, Lopburi, and Ayutthaya. Find adventures around Chiang Mai. Visit Khao Sok National Park. Relax on the tropical islands. Partake in the full moon party. And take part in Songkran. (HOPEFUL!!!)
